Welcome to TigerTree!
Jeff Smith, one of the owners, grew up in Evanston, Wyoming - Hunting, Fishing and Jeeping in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.  He worked for the Forest Service on various trail and wildland fire crews in Big Piney, Afton and Dubois, Wyoming.  A graduate of the University of Wyoming, he won the UW 10K competition - a business plan competition - and TigerTree (formally Firewise Forest Management) was born!   

Emily Parsonsmith, a native of Vermont, grew up around maple trees and dairy cows.  Out to explore, she moved to Montana to attend the University of Montana at Missoula.  After graduation, Emily moved to Wyoming to work on a wildland fire crew, where she and Jeff meet.  While owning and working with TigerTree, she has also graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Masters of Public Administration.   

Jeff and Emily finally tied the knot on September 5th 2009, with our friends and family in Northern Vermont.  Most of the TigerTree group made it out as well!  Besides Tim and Becky, as they just welcomed their first child, Jackson!
